INDICO_
Indico is an interactive team building product. Individual yet collective, it is a tool for sketching and documenting ideation. When individual tablets are connected into one form, it creates a larger wall space for team collaboration. This project was in collaboration with Product Designer Annie Pan. Physical models and graphic characters were designed and crafted by Annie.
RESEARCH_
The key pain points we found in the process of team collaboration were: an abundance of sticky notes, limited space, and poor documentation. We did interviews and research on how to tackle these problems and formed three personas. The insights we collected from our personas were: Indico had to be seamless, new users evoked new formats, documentation was crucial for outside parties, and the interaction had to be simple.
Indico allows multiple forms to accommodate different collaboration styles.
There are three connection styles: linear, dome, and fan.
